The system has built in templates that enable you to produce risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments quickly and easily making them site or task specific. After selecting the hazards associated with the works the system automatically adds in the various controls that would normally be applicable to a particular hazard. With a single click of a button you remove the controls from the risk assessment that is not applicable. Additional controls are very easy to add to your risk assessment but as soon as you add an extra control it will be available for selection when you prepare your next risk assessment. The more you use the system the quicker it is to produce your next assessment ensuring your risk assessments are suitable and sufficient. After completing your risk assessment, those who are required to produce method statements are quickly guided through the next stage and the method statement is automatically populated with information from your risk assessment. The COSHH assessments also include the new Global Harmonised Symbols as well as the existing COSHH symbols. Training Records The training module enable you to capture all of your training records by individual employee or contractor. You can record external training, internal training, toolbox talks, safety briefs and induction records. Add the expiry date of your training course or competence card and the system will automatically warn you when you need to book your refresher training. You can even scan the training certificate or competence card and attach it to the training record. Ideal for controlling and monitoring your training needs and a good auditing tool and database for your ISO, OHSAS, CHAS, Safecontractor, SMAS and acclaim record keeping. Plant and Equipment Register Most organisations have plant, equipment, vehicles tools and equipment that needs testing, calibrating or maintaining to comply with health and safety law that requires you to maintain safe plant and equipment. Enter each item into our database along with the expiry dates of MOTs, road tax, calibrations, maintenance requirements, tests of thorough examination, test dates for fire equipment or portable appliance test dates and the system will track when they are next due. The register provides a visual warning of green to indicate current, amber to indicate something is due and red indicates that something is overdue or has expired. You can scan your records such as maintenance sheets, MOTs, test certificates and calibration certificates and attach them to your records for that piece of plant or equipment. Safety Audits There is a safety audit module that enable you to select various types of audit reports depending on your type of business or activities. The audit module enables you to record all your audits electronically or you can print off the template to take into the work area, use as a checklist and record you findings. You can then, if you want to, update your audit records on the system. Accidents and Incident Reporting We have a module that helps you to carry out your accident and incident investigations and report writting. When the investigation report is entered into the system you can allocate actions to individual persons to carry out corrective and preventative actions. The system will then track the current status of your action plan indicating if the investigation is open or closed out. The module will automatically link (where appropriate) to the RIDDOR reporting website. Toolbox Talks Health and Safety Law requires you to provide information, instruction and training to your employees and in many cases your sub contractors. One of the many ways is to provide your workforce with toolbox talks and retain the records on file. We have prepared around 45 toolbox talks for you to deliver those that are applicable to your workforce and we have created the briefing sheets with each toolbox talk. The system is cloud based which means you can log on securely from anywhere in the world where you have internet access. You can log on with your PC, laptop, tablet, smart phone and most internet enabled devices which gain access to a web browser. This is extremely beneficial to those of you who work out of the office or are site base. If you have documents to prepare at home or in a hotel whilst working away it's all there for you 24/7 subject to internet access. Of course you will be responsible for all data charges and internet access charges but with many broadband providers providing unlimited downloads this cost will be negligible and if you already have that facility then there should be no extra costs involved to gain access to the system. Module Availability Many software providers give you the option to add the various modules that you require. We have taken a very simple approach........ You get it all. If you only use 2 or 3 of the modules then we think you are getting good value for your money. If you use most of the modules then you will be getting exceptional value for your money. You are not alone Whilst we are providing you with the tools to manage your own health and safety arrangements we recognise that our Clients may still need expert help on occasions. We will still be providing our normal "competent person" health and safety retainer packages and telephone only support packages for those businesses that want to utilise our consultancy services. We will also provide services on a ad-hoc basis. For any Client who takes out our "Ultimate" retainer package we have massively discounted our "Safety First" package by 50%.
